Short CV
I am a senior lecturer in mathematics at the University of Aberdeen .
During 2015-2018 I was a postdoc at the University of Hamburg and took part in the Research Training Group “Mathematics inspired by String Theory and Quantum Field Theory”.
In 2012-2015 I was a postdoc at the Center for Symmetry and Deformation at the University of Copenhagen .
In 2010-2012 I was an EPDI fellow and visited the Max Planck Institute in Bonn, the IHES in Paris, and the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge.
I have defended my thesis in July 2010 at the Technion in Israel. My advisers were Eli Aljadeff and Shlomo Gelaki .
Research Interests
Hopf algebras, representation theory (especially of finite groups), tensor categories (especially fusion categories). Geometric invariant theory and its applications in classifying algebraic structures (in particular Hopf algebras).
I am also interested in cohomology of groups.
